PTSD Disability Claim & VA Compensation

If you have PTSD to the point that it is affecting your work, family, and quality of life, you
are entitled to compensation from the VA (Veterans Administration).  Some Veterans feel
like this means they're asking for a hand out.  Let me assure you, you're not!  Your service
to our country earned you the right to have a hand
up... something to help you and your
only means you receive money every month, it also means you have access to additional
health services, vocational rehabilitation, discounts on home loans, and other benefits only
available to Veterans with a service-connected disability.  So, if you have Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder as a result of your military service, you should strongly consider filing a
claim with the VA.

**Note, if PTSD has made you (or your Veteran) unable to work, you are also eligible for
Social Security Disability Benefits.**
